We are seeking an enthusiastic HR intern to join us for a 12-week program. This person will work with both our Talent Acquisition (TA) and Learning and Development (L&D) teams within the Talent Management function, to gain valuable background in the spectrum of the talent experience with the Group 1001 organization.
You will get involved with TA efforts including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and hiring, to gain understanding of how TA functions in a corporate environment. In addition to TA work, you will join the L&D team where you will meaningful insights and hands-on experience in how Group 1001 develops its employees through training programs, leadership development workshops, and on-demand learning opportunities.
Main Accountabilities:
- Work closely with TA and L&D to gain hands-on experience in the talent lifecyle within an organization.
- Participate in recruiting activities such as sourcing, screening, scheduling and hiring to gain understanding of the TA team within a company.
- Develop a set of creative recruitment marketing materials for promotion of the company and its affiliates. This would include fliers, social media posts, and content for job postings.
- Participate in supporting the L&D team in activities such as content development, coordination and facilitation of live training events, and developing marketing materials for our on-demand learning platform.
- Work with our instructional designer to learn how to develop e-learning content utilizing a variety of authoring tools
- Assist in the creation of a quarterly talent management data report, to provide the organization key metrics and activities related to our talent cycle.
- Contributes to miscellaneous HR projects.
Education and Qualification:
- Undergraduate students completing their sophomore or junior year are preferred.
- Major in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Candidate should be adept at juggling several tasks at once in an organized manner and have well-developed interpersonal skills,
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are integral to the success of this position.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams. PowerPoint and Excel proficiency are preferred.
- High level of creativity to develop unique messaging for talent attraction.
- Knowledge of various types of recruiting platforms, websites, and social media.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, positive, professional environment.
- Ability to maintain high standards including confidential information
