Ministry Brands is looking for a HR Generalist to join our growing team! 

 

Location: Alpharetta, GA Hybrid  

 

Hybrid Working: In this role, you will split your time between working at the designated company office in Alpharetta, GA for a minimum of 3 days per week and will work remotely from your home address up to 2 days per week. Any changes to these work locations must follow the appropriate process as outlined in our handbook.

Onboarding & Orientation: 

  • Oversee new associate onboarding, including processing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all HR compliance requirements are met. 

  • Liaison between IT to ensure new hire and off boarded equipment is processed timely 

  • Provide guidance to new associates on policies and procedures 

  • Responsible for reviewing and conducting new hire cohorts and feedback sessions 

  • Oversee and manage new hire welcome packs (swag) 

  • Identify opportunities to elevate the onboarding experience for new Associates 

  • Partner with departments to elevate the onboarding experience  

 

Associate Engagement and Communication:

  • Oversee and lead culture committees 

  • Plan and execute team and office events  

  • Drive content for monthly newsletter 

  • Own content and updating of intranet – MB Insider 

  • Maintain events calendar  

  • Maintain retirement awards (scheduling, ordering, mailing) 

  • Manage various programs, including the Professional Development Reimbursement Program 

 

Compliance & Documentation: 

  • Maintain and update associate files and data 

  • Oversee and maintain corporate training through Workday and other platforms 

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation  

  • Provide associate verifications of employment 

  • In partnership with HRBP’s, provide documentation and responses for unemployment claims 

  • Review mail and distribute accordingly 

 

HRIS System:

  • Maintain data within our HRIS system (Workday) including associate records, organizational and reporting changes, locations, and incentive compensation plans 

  • Partner with our HRIS Manager to create and automate processes and reports 

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to set up job requisitions 

 

HR Projects and improvement:

  • Assist in implementing HR initiatives to improve associate experience, satisfaction, and overall practice efficiency 

  • Participate in surveys, data collection and analysis 

 

Office Management:

  • Main contact for Alpharetta office including contact with Facility Manager 

  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies 

  • Coordination as needed of onsite events 

 

Requirements 

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR generalist role. 

  • Knowledge of HR best practices

  • Experience with Workday and  proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on confidentiality and discretion

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude, with the ability to foster a positive workplace culture
