Job Description
Profile requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance / business administration
- Knowledge of US Payroll Processing
- General accounting knowledge
- Tax and labor law knowledge
- Advanced English (essential)
- Full time in the office
Qualifications
Essential technologies and/or tools:
- US Payroll Software
- Google Suite
- SAT portal
- Accounting Management software
- Corporate and personnel administration ERPs
Main responsibilities to be performed in the position:
- Process US Payroll, off-cycle manual checks, and termination checks.
- Maintain state tax and insurance compliance in all states where MedTrainer has employees.
- Set up garnishments and levies.
- Provide payroll support to US employees.
- Submit amendments for W2s.
- Ensure employees' pay profiles and tax settings are complete and accurate.
- Respond to unemployment claims.
- Submit quarterly wage reports and tax filings.
- Submit Sales and Use Tax registrations for new states.
- Follow up with Workers Comp and ensure compliance.
- Document Payroll and Tax procedures by creating manuals and policies
