This is an entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in HR. The role will be split between HR and Learning & Development, providing experience across both areas. Upon successful of their probation, they will have the chance to progress with a CIPD qualification through the apprentice route.
Description:
The HR Coordinator is people focused collaborator who is supportive of an inclusive environment, and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our Telford Plant. They will own the administrative activities that support the daily operations of the HR team and strategic goals of the plant, linking our various teams through effective communication and organisational efficiency.
You'll be reporting into the HR Generalist and Learning and Development (L&D) Partner, working alongside impactful peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to senior internal colleagues across our UK and European business! Our HR Coordinator will be offered to become accredited with CIPD after their probation has been completed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- HR Administration: Updates and maintains HR records in digital format.
- Onboarding: Assists with the on-boarding of new employees ensuring paperwork is completed and PPE, uniform, equipment, and welcome packs are issued.
- Event coordination: Supports organisation of employee engagement events.
- Site communication: Owns the Weekly Newsletter and ad-hoc communication, daily management of HR Inbox.
- Record Keeping: Sustains absence management records, including monitoring of employee compliance, documentation, ensuring data accuracy.
- Reporting: Attendance Reporting, and ER tracking in line with Kraft Heinz policies.
- Payroll: Serve as payroll and time/attendance resource.
- People Committee: Serve as an active member and support HR Generalist with People Committee related tasks.
- L&D Support: Work with the L&D Partner to identify training needs, assist in evaluating training effectiveness by capturing feedback and reporting on learning outcomes, develop and maintain effective communication and working relationships with internal trainers, team members, internal colleagues, and external customers.
- Assisting the HR Team with other ad-hoc HR tasks
