BHS Corrugated is seeking an HR Analyst to join our growing team in our Charlotte, NC office!
Summary:
This position is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights. This role will analyze large datasets, create compelling visualizations, and provide strategic recommendations to drive business decisions. This position will also be responsible for implementing new HRIS programs and providing training on these programs.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, SAP Success Factors, SAP EC, ADP, and other HRIS platforms, as well as Power BI and other data visualization tools. This position reports directly to the HR Operations Manager and plays a crucial role in various HR projects and initiatives. This role is a hybrid position in Charlotte, NC and requires less than 20% travel.
Responsibilities:
HR Data Analytics:
- Create and improve systems that automatically gather, organize, and present important business data in clear reports and dashboards. This ensures decision-makers have easy access to accurate, up-to-date information without needing to manually pull data from different sources
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., Power Query, VBA, pivot tables, advanced formulas) to manage and analyze complex datasets efficiently.
- Present data- driven recommendations to HR leadership and business stakeholders to inform decision-making
HRIS Implementation & Optimization:
- Lead the implementation of new HRIS systems, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to customize systems and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.
- Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide training to end-users to maximize adoption and usability.
- Audit HR data to ensure master data quality and troubleshoot irregularities.
- Research best practices and trends in HRIS and recommends process and service improvements
Training and Support:
- Design and deliver training for employees and managers on HR systems and processes.
- Act as the HR helpdesk, providing support and resolving system-related issues.
- Develop user guides, FAQs, and other training materials to facilitate smooth system transitions.
Organizational Effectiveness
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented programs, adjusting as needed.
- Support managers in the People functions to evaluate and optimize processes.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, ensuring clear and concise information sharing.
- Partner with managers to address inquiries and provide guidance on HR systems and processes.
- Foster a collaborative environment to enhance the overall HR service delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration or related field
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros, VBA, Power Query, and pivot tables).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL or other database query languages is a plus.
- Proven experience with SAP Success Factors, SAP EC, ADP, and other HRIS platforms.
- Experience in HR program implementation and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of business functions and processes.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a computer for up to eight (8) hours a day.
- Ability to stand for at least forty-five (45) minutes at a time and lift thirty-five (35) pounds at waist level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of current HR trends and best practices.
Salary & Benefits:
The salary range offered for this position is $65k - $80k per year.
