Key Responsibilities
1) Support the recruiting efforts to attract the best talent.
2) Responsible for all temporary labour on-site liaising with agencies to source and manage the need for temporary labour as well as managing the agency to agreed KPI’s
3) Responsible for recruitment of apprentices, interns and graduates. Liaising with mentors and managers to support development needs.
4) Assist with employee relations including but not limited to disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement plans, probation periods, new employee orientations and exit interviewing.
5) Support managers in handling absence including long term absence management and referrals to medical practitioners and insurance providers to help lower absence levels and provide high levels of customer service
6) Assist employees with general HR related queries, managing the Bradford HR email account to ensure employee queries are resolved in a timely manner with high levels of customer service
7) Use systems such as MS Teams and Sharepoint to develop effective HR resources for all colleagues and managers
8) Recommend policies and procedures to enhance delivery of HR services.
9) Production of HR and Management reports.
10) Support the payroll process ensuring checks are complete. Trained in the delivery of payroll to support business continuity in the event of absence.
11) Work on salary administration, benefits projects, special group projects and other generalist duties as required.
In future role to include:
12) Administration of Time & Attendance.
13) Payroll checking and liaising with third party providers to ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time
14) Completion of HR documentation such as contracts of employment etc
Person Specification
Essential
Minimum 3 years in a role in a similar HR generalist capacity CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards Proficient with the use of Excel, Word and Outlook
Desirable
Bachelors Degree Proficient with the use of Teams, Sharepoint and Visio Experience of payroll and Time & Attendance systems
