Job Description:

The HR Advisor will provide expert HR advice and play a pivotal role in managing ER matters and ensuring fairness and consistency in line with our People policies and employment legislation.

Your customer-focused approach will be key in supporting our People Business Partners to execute strategic people plans efficiently and professionally, ultimately adding significant value to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and expert advice/guidance to employees and leaders in accordance with People policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Build strong working relationships with leaders of all levels.

  • Provide proactive advice, support and guidance on varied employee relations matters including investigations, suspension, disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, performance issues, drugs and alcohol testing, absence management, capability situations, settlement agreements and contractual changes.

  • Work in collaboration with the Centres of Excellence, such as recruitment, reward, and learning and development, to provide a seamless, supportive, and proactive service to the business.

  • Collaborate with internal customers and service providers to deliver timely and efficient HR services.

  • Identify opportunities to improve and develop policies and procedures in line with employment law changes and best practices.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to successfully implement policy changes that support business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • General HR experience, including recruitment and employee relations

  • Previous experience of working independently

  • Up-to-date knowledge of current Employment Law

  • Grad CIPD or working towards

  • Analytical skills and thinking

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
