Job Description:
The HPE Services Reseller Business Development & Partner Programs Lead will join the WW HPE Services Channel Sales and GTM organization with the objective to grow the HPE Services channel business of the countries and partners under his/her scope, with a special focus on partners attended by the Digital Partner Business Manager community.
Responsibilities:
HPE Services Reseller Business Development with focus on solution providers attended by dPBM’s:
- Regular engagement with dPBM’s and with their partners
- Provide effective business insights, direction and enablement to the Digital PBM community on HPE Services
- Focus on Partner HPE Services acceleration and growth through the higher, wider and longer HPE Services sales strategy
- Grow the HPE Services business of the Business and Proximity partners and develop them to become HPE Partner Ready: Service Partner
- Develop a program to give visibility to the dPBM’s of the early-stage opportunities in the pipeline with room for HPE Services attach or upsell
HPE Services Partner Programs:
- Works with the EMEA CSLV and Channel Leaders to define a partner training calendar on HPE Services topics aligned with their strategy and priorities
- Provides organizational support to define dates, speakers, send invites to the HPE channel sales community, track registrations and event attendance and send post-event wrap up messages.
- Supports and backs-up the EMEA HPE Services Partner Programs Lead
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically 5+ years to establish proven track record in directly related business.
- Typically first level university degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in working in complex international environments.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excels in business analytics, problem detection and identification of root cause.
- Good understanding of the IT services industry, competing vendors, and the channel.
- Moderate understanding of HPE’s channel partner programs: HPE Partner Ready: Solution Provider; HPE Partner Ready: Service Partner; HPE Partner Ready Vantage.
- Good understanding of company's organization & operations, including key business rules, and alignment with company GBU go-to-market strategies, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives, structure and business model.
- Self-starter, resourceful, persistent and action oriented.
- Leads teams to achieve results.
- Proficiency with desktop applications and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Moderate level of planning, project management and change management skills.Excellent communication skills.
