HPC & AI Presales Solution Architect (f/m/d)
This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
In our HPC/AI division we focus on cutting edge, high-performance, high-scale customer solutions serving a wide range of segments and end-users. Our Supercomputing organization includes High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), covering major Public Sector verticals like Weather and Climate, Energy, Oil & Gas, High-end Education or Defense.
In this position as HPC & AI Presales Solution Architect you will
- Provide technical analysis of HPC and AI customers, prospects and market demands
- Design HPC and AI solutions based on HPE hardware and software products to best meet customer or prospects demands
- Closely work with HPC and AI sales, performance team, product development and manufacturing to technically and financially optimize the solutions
- Provide technical support in HPC and AI sales presentations, proposals and product demonstrations to ensure customers understand the benefits and the requirements of the solutions
- Adapt to flexible roles as needed by HPE and become proficient at additional technical skills as needed
- Interact with HPC and AI R&D and Product Management team to help adapting HPE current and future products to market needs.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…
- Academic Master degree in a technical field of studies, Ph.D. preferred
- Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience on managing big and complex HPC projects
- Recognized expertise in HPC and AI architecture
- Strong understanding of HPC and AI hardware and software ecosystems
- Experience in pre-sales situations in the domain of HPC and AI
- Ability to understand and influence customer demands, to analyze and to present how HPE systems can address the needs
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively internally across the function and across organizational boundaries
- Ability to communicate effectively externally in a multi-cultural environment, with business partners and suppliers in order to meet customer needs
- Ability to influence product direction to handle specific market demands
- Fluent use (written & spoken) of German and English is required. Understanding and proficient usage of additional European languages is a plus.
