About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Helper Success Manager to oversee a Book of Business of Helpers and Hands across the United States, driving activation, retention, utilization, and quality. This critical role on the Tasker Operations team is not a traditional success role, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of Helpers from the moment they onboard to their ongoing engagement with the platform.

Helpers and Hands are independent contractors who assist with moving, delivery, and heavy lifting tasks, either with their vehicle or as labor-only support. As a proactive team member, you’ll anticipate the needs of Helpers, helping them thrive even before they realize they need support. By implementing supply alignment tactics and programs, you will help optimize key Helper Success metrics and contribute to Dolly’s overall managed marketplace strategy. Your efforts will directly impact the quality of service provided, ensuring that both Helpers and clients consistently return for more.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a talent for building relationships and problem-solving. With a people-centric approach, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. This role is pivotal in shaping the function itself, so we need someone thoughtful, scrappy, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You will use data to drive action, collaborate cross-functionally, and focus on results. Excellent time management and organizational skills, combined with a bias toward action and impact, will be key to your success in managing multiple competing priorities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and grow your Book of Business of Helpers, ensuring high activation, retention, utilization, billing, and quality across the United States.
  • Coach and mentor Helpers daily, helping them become highly successful on the platform and achieve their goals.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize Helper journeys, ensuring effective decision-making and continual improvement.
  • Track performance metrics, identify trends, and respond with tailored programs and supply alignment tactics.
  • Plan and execute communications to drive behavior change and increase supply alignment among Helpers.
  • Onboard new Helpers effectively, ensuring they are set up to execute high-quality jobs and engage fully with the platform.
  • Execute quality programs as directed by the Helper Quality team, maintaining standards of excellence across your markets.
  • Identify at-risk Helpers and proactively engage them with retention strategies to prevent churn.
  • Communicate business impact and performance insights to broader business leads and teams, helping to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead local community engagement, organizing and executing events that connect and support the Helper community.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Tasker Success and Tasker Quality teams to drive success for new programs and initiatives.
  • Innovate and experiment with new strategies to improve supply alignment and optimize the Helper experience.
  • Share insights and learnings across the Tasker Operations team to help improve existing programs and drive new ones.
  • Travel up to 10% to attend team and metro-specific events.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs, taking on other duties as necessary.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience.
  • 4+ years of professional experience, ideally in customer-facing roles, operations, or at a marketplace company.
  • A people-oriented self-starter with a passion for helping others succeed and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Adaptable in fast-paced environments, with the ability to translate high-level objectives into action plans, quickly pivot through changes, and ask for support when needed.
  • Experienced in driving results through collaboration, data analysis, and strong execution skills.
  • An enthusiastic “people person” who derives joy from helping people succeed.
  • A confident communicator and negotiator—able to engage effectively via email, video, phone, and in person.
  • A time management expert, with strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency.
  • A collaborative team player who brings energy and passion to the workplace.
  • Strong analytical with Excel / Google Sheets is required. Familiarity with Sigma, Looker, SQL, and Iterable is a plus.

What We Do

Taskrabbit is a marketplace platform that conveniently connects people with Taskers to handle everyday home to-do’s, such as furniture assembly, handy work, moving help, and much more. Acquired by IKEA Group - the world’s largest furniture retailer - in 2017

At Taskrabbit, we want to make your neighborhood a little more familiar. Whether it’s a handyman (or woman!), a housecleaner, moving help or delivery person, we’re imagining a world where everyone will have a go-to team to make everyday life easier. As a company we celebrate innovation, inclusion and hard work.

As a pioneer of the sharing economy, Taskrabbit was founded on the premise of neighbors helping neighbors. Since then, our network has grown to eight countries and 75+ cities, yet our core mission of creating a better everyday life for everyday people has remained the same.

Together with IKEA, we’re creating more opportunities for people to earn a consistent, meaningful income on their own terms by building lasting relationships with clients in communities around the world.

We are a group of mission-minded people. Our culture is collaborative, pragmatic, and fast-paced. We’re looking for talented, entrepreneurially-minded and data-driven people who also have a passion for helping people do what they love - and have a ton of fun while they’re at it.

Why Work With Us

Taskrabbit is remote-first with coworkers across the US, Canada and the EU. We are deeply mission-driven helping our communities, providing meaningful income on your own terms, and transforming lives, one task at a time.
