What would your role be?

  • Lead and develop a team of financial crime compliance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence.

  • Oversee the second line of defense reviews for transaction monitoring alerts, ensuring thorough analysis of asset origins, client profiles, and commercial backgrounds.

  • Monitor and assess transactional behaviors, including crypto-related transactions, and provide expert guidance on high-risk activities.

  • Partner with Relationship Managers (RMs) to support them in compliance matters, providing clear and actionable guidance.

  • Enhance risk management frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with internal compliance functions to create a holistic client risk assessment and ensure consistency across the organization.

  • Drive innovation by continuously improving transaction monitoring processes and leveraging new technologies where applicable.

  • Proven experience in financial crime compliance and transaction monitoring, with expertise in regulatory requirements.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across different levels and functions.

  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, able to navigate complexity with confidence.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

  • Experience with cryptocurrency transactions and compliance frameworks is a plus.
