All about the role:
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Tax, Treasury and Holding for the APAC-MEA region. This role is critical in overseeing the tax functions, managing treasury operations, and ensuring statutory and tax compliance and risk management across the region. The role will report to the Head of Tax and collaborate closely on strategic initiatives.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee the tax, treasury and holding functions in the APAC-MEA region, ensuring compliance with local regulations and managing tax risks and processes, in close cooperation with the headquarter.

• Lead and manage a team of 3 professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities, as well as the functional leadership for the Country Holding Officers in the region.

• Manage tax audits in the region, ensuring thorough preparation and compliance.

• Manage relationships with statutory auditors and oversee statutory reporting requirements in the region.

• Manage relationships with banks, ensuring efficient cash flow management.

• Ensure a sustainable capital structure within the legal entities in the region, optimizing financial performance and stability.

• Ensure an effective legal structure in the region and leading/overseeing projects within this area.

• Regional responsibility for company secretarial matters, including board appointments.

Who are you:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.

• Extensive experience in tax within the APAC region and

• Strong understanding of statutory reporting and compliance requirements.

• General treasury, and financial risk management experience is a plus. ,

• Strong leadership experience with an ambition to grow talent and develop the team.

• Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders’ auditors, banks.

• Personality that enjoy and excel in a matrix and multicultural organization. .

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.

The role can be based in Bangkok office in Thailand or Petaling Jaya office in Malaysia.
