Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Product Marketing to lead the strategy and execution for product marketing across the KEV product portfolio.  Reporting into the SVP of Product Management, you will work across our solutions and lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, product positioning and messaging that creates excitement for our products with prospective and existing customers, ultimately driving results.

To succeed in this high-impact role, you will be both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to grow and lead the Product Marketing team and cross-functional partners and initiatives across the company.   Your key goals will include shaping and driving KEV’S product marketing strategy and team, building demand and growing usage of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a successful B2B product marketing strategy for new and existing products
  • Own competitive analysis, definition of key value propositions, positioning and messaging for KEV’S products and enable go-to-market teams
  • Manage and build a best-in-class product marketing team through effective hiring, mentoring, and coaching
  • Own voice-of-customer and customer communication creating and supporting product communications and content that drive awareness and interest, communicate value and increase engagement for our products
  • Perform market research, including market and competitive intelligence to monitor and understand the product technology landscape
  • Lead and participate in customer engagement and thought-leadership activities that focus on market/customer pain points as well as broader market/industry topics
  • Continuously assess and improve product marketing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall excellence
  • Collaborate with other departments such as product management, sales, and customer support, to ensure effective communication, alignment, and seamless integration of product marketing initiatives with those functions

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven track record with 10+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, with least 5 years in leadership roles
  • Previous experience with reporting into Product and expertise in both sales- and product-lead growth in a multi-product organization
  • Ability to balance the managing both long-term strategy and medium- to short-term objectives
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire
  • Proven ability to work across the organization with sales, customers, account management, customer success, and design teams; people should want to work with you again
  • Experience in market research, competitive and market intelligence
  • Expertise in bringing product and features to market, with proven results in driving increased sales or adoption through of the releases
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven approach to drive outcomes
  • High customer focus, with previous experience soliciting and leveraging voice of customer
  • Strong project-management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making skills
