Verisure is seeking a talented Head of Procurement Operations and Digital Transformation to join the Procurement team. This role provides an outstanding platform for an experienced leader who has a proven track record of digital transformation, whilst providing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and back-office operation, at a global level.

This position will lead the conceptualization and delivery of the new global strategy and approach, designed to enhance business performance and impact to its internal stakeholders.

The selected candidate will manage the development and implementation of our future digital and processes strategy, as well as the execution of our back-office activities. This role will improve our efficiency while strengthening our compliance, third party risk management and back-office operations across our different markets.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Procurement Operations and P2P process

    • Develop, implement, and manage the organization’s procurement policies and procedures.

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes, and their adoption by the organization.

    • Drive and reinforce the creation and usage of procurement catalogs  across the group.

    • Oversee the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) process.

  • Third-Party Risk Management, Compliance and Back-office activities

    • Manage supplier qualification and evaluation process.

    • Ensure supplier due diligence is compliance with relevant laws, regulations, ethical standards, and risk mitigation initiatives.

    • Lead the team supporting procurement managers and buyers, and develop the function into a streamlined international back-office or BPO (Business Process Outsourcing).   

    • Ensure procurement team processes and systems training.

    • Collaborate and partner with the ESG teams to drive ESG initiatives within the procurement organization.

  • Procurement Digital Vision, Strategy Development and Implementation

    • Define and execute the system vision and digital strategy for the Procurement department.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align digital initiatives with business goals.

    • Map the needs for supporting procurement technologies, systems, and tools.

    • Develop, maintain, and execute the digital roadmap for procurement technology.

    • Reinforce analytics and data management within the full procurement organization.

  • Change Leadership and Adoption

    • Champion digital and process transformation within the procurement function.

    • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of digital tools and processes across the organization.

    • Drive a cultural shift toward data-driven decision-making.

Reporting line and location

This role will report to our Indirect Procurement Director. The position is based in Madrid (Spain).

Candidate profile

Experience and requirements

We are looking for a high potential, proactive and solution-oriented individual focused on driving value to the business who is looking for a challenging yet rewarding job.

  • 10 years of relevant experience in BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), or Back-office management, at multi-country scale.

  • Strong experience on digital transformation, and a genuine interest on the latest technologies related to Artificial Intelligence and RPA (Robotic Process Automation), such as: UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, or Artificial Intelligence Agents.

  • Ideally, strong understanding of procurement processes, related technology and tools.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish. Other European languages are a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Physics, Maths, Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Technology).
