Head of Performance Marketing

Job Purpose

As the Head of Performance Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the strategic vision and execution of our digital performance marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition and profitable leads by shaping the performance channels into best in class lead drivers. You will oversee a team of performance marketing specialists, guiding them in optimizing campaigns across multiple channels, including paid and organic search, affiliate marketing and direct performance partnerships. Your role will be pivotal in analyzing data, identifying trends, and implementing performance-driven strategies to maximize the balance between ROI and sales. With a deep understanding of consumer behavior, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies, you will play a crucial role in shaping our growth trajectory and ensuring measurable impact on our business objectives.

• Drive business growth by crafting, leading and executing a holistic performance marketing strategy
• Master Search; drive and support execution of strategies and tactics to be the nr. 1 in search
• Drive customer acquisition: increase online visibility, attract qualified leads and convert them into profitable customers
• Initiate and establish brand partnerships and drive volume through our affiliate partners
• Bring solid all round performance marketing experience in SEA, SEO and Affiliate Marketing 
• Lead the performance marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive performance marketing strategies for various markets 
• Lead a team of channel specialists: SEA, SEO and Affiliate Marketing
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning within the team
• Utilize analytics tools and performance data to optimize investments and drive channel growth 
• Budget ownership: monitor spending, ROI and other key financial metrics to achieve maximum profitability
• Optimize market conversion and drive volume based on data.

What you bring to the table

• Master Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
• At least 8 years’ experience in a similar role in Performance Marketing, preferably in travel/air industry, FMCG or having showcased success for a big brand or a consultancy/ data driven background.
• Expertise in SEA, SEO and Affiliate Marketing 
• Proven analytical and data driven mindset 
• Proven people manager skills, with a track record in providing guidance and support to achieve collective and individual goals.
• Strong stakeholder skills: you’re a connector, build bridges and can clearly present conclusions based on data 
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and preferably Dutch.
