Summary:
The Multinational Head of Underwriting Knowledge is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge management strategy that will enable the multinational underwriting function. This role will ensure the accessibility and currency of key information, support underwriters in navigating complex multinational risks, and identify training needs to enhance underwriting expertise across the organization. This is a hybrid role based in our Madrid office.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert support to underwriting colleagues globally on complex multinational risks, offering guidance and insights.

Develop and implement a strategic knowledge management plan for multinational underwriting, encompassing data acquisition, storage, accessibility, and utilization.

Maintain a current and accurate multinational underwriting knowledge database, including regulatory updates, best practices, and case studies.

Identify and define training requirements for underwriters, operations, and distribution teams related to multinational underwriting and risk management.

Collaborate with training and development teams to design and deliver effective training programs.

Contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines and best practices for multinational business.

Stay abreast of evolving regulatory environments and industry best practices in multinational insurance.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to knowledge management and training effectiveness.
Qualifications:

Extensive experience in Multinational P&C underwriting

Strong knowledge of international insurance regulations and compliance requirements.

Proven experience in knowledge management and training program development.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and geographical locations.
