About the job

Within our Alfa Laval North American Cluster (United States and Canada), the Head of Marketing will lead a team of specialists working closely with business managers to attain market- and customer insights and drive lead generation, nurturing and conversion.

This hybrid position offers flexibility and can be based in one of several great locations: Richmond, VA; Houston, TX; Greenwood, IN; Kenosha, WI; or Warrington, PA.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Set the strategic marketing plan for the US and Canada, in collaboration with key business stakeholders 
  • Manage and develop a team of marketing specialists across different disciplines to deliver on the marketing strategy 
  • Create strong brand recognition for Alfa Laval in North America and drive awareness around our product and service offering. 
  • Work with sales teams to drive business growth by translating customer-, market- and competitor insights into tangible business opportunities and compelling marketing promotion programs.  
  • Work across Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service to develop and drive initiatives that accelerate revenue growth through commercial excellence. 
  • Drive the digital agenda in an agile way by gathering, analyzing and implementing insights gained from working with online awareness, search optimization, digital promotion, lead capturing and sales.   
  • Be responsible for the external and internal communication strategy on local/regional/cluster level designed to create engagement and provide clarity around key initiatives.  
  • Determine local marketing budget and KPIs together with sales management and Managing Directors.

What you know

You have excellent communication, organizational and collaboration skills. You have high energy, a creative approach and enjoy driving innovation. You are curious about the business and will work to enhance our digital acumen. You have prior experience in:

  • Working in an international matrixed organization
  • Driving change within a sales organizations and full sales and marketing funnel
  • Strategically Working with a CRM
  • Influencing decision making in the business
  • Creating and proposing new solutions to increase market share

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or similar discipline desired
  • 7+ Years experience in Marketing in a matrix environment 
  • Experience in industrial marketing required, B2B marketing desired
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of marketing managers and specialists
  • Willingness and ability to travel international/Domestic up to 25% of the time
