Responsibilities will include:  

The primary responsibility is to handle indirect procurement in the countries under the cluster responsibility. Currently this includes France and Belgium.

  • Sourcing and Savings
    • Identify procurement opportunities, define a Procurement Plan, and maximize savings across countries
    • Lead indirect sourcing strategies
    • Achieve the excellence in the execution of the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) process for the regions assigned. Including the collection and enhancement of internal needs, drafting of specifications, analysis of offers, negotiation, and contract discussions.
    • Ensure compliance of processes and policies.
  • Risk mitigation:
    • Ensure supplier due diligence and risk assessment, compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
    • Collaborate and partner with the ESG teams to drive ESG initiatives within the procurement organization.
    • Coordination with legal counsel and internal stakeholders in drafting contracts.
    • Identify risks (data privacy, information security, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, etc.) and apply mitigating actions.
  • Stakeholders’ management.
    • Collaborate and influence business leaders and stakeholders within the region.
    • Manage issues with suppliers, periodically monitor agreements and evaluate suppliers, including tracking supplier performance according to the agreed scope of services.
       
  • People’s management.
    • Conduct performance assessments for team members (approximately five individuals).
    • Provide coaching and development for team members.
    • Oversee the implementation of defined action plans.
  • Change Leadership and Adoption
    • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of digital tools and processes across the organization.
    • Drive a cultural shift toward data-driven decision-making.
  • Availability to travel.

Reporting line and location

This role will report to our Indirect Procurement Director. The position is based in Antony (France).

Candidate profile

Experience and requirements

We are looking for a high potential, proactive and solution-oriented individual focused on driving value to the business who is looking for a challenging yet rewarding job.

  • 10 years of relevant experience in Procurement, at multi-country scale.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, technology, and tools.
  • Extensive expertise and experience in negotiation skills, cost management, quality assurance, deadline adherence, and contracts.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French. Other European languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Physics, Maths, Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Technology).
