SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We're seeking a Head of Human Resource & Admin who will be responsible to lead and develop the Human Resources function by implementing concepts, tools and procedures in order to support and contribute to an efficient organisation. The Head of HR & Admin holds the full responsibility for the HR function and its related activities within a company, and executes this responsibility autonomously, with a team of subordinates to create impacts on the business.
This position will be based in Shah Alam, Malaysia and reporting to Managing Director.
Responsibilities

Lead the HR function by utilising Jotun’s Leadership tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a competent workforce engaged and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs

Responsible for all activities related to Human Resources within Malaysia and Singapore

Integrate, implement and maintain Group and Regional HR policies, processes, and tools with local policies and processes to ensure consistency and in adherence with local legal requirements

Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that HR strategic response and activities support and enhance overall business strategy

Manage assigned elements in HSEQ Management programmes.

Be responsible for and independently manage all areas of Human Resources (i.e. Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, Mobility, Labour law/relations, Organisational design, Leadership, and Strategic development of HR)

Ensure Human Resources practices are at all times fit-for-purpose, supporting business strategy and helping to shape the company and its culture

Ensure legal and governmental commitments, compliance, and requirements are met throughout all practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Management

At least 5 years of solid people management experience

Proficient in verbal and written English
