Job Summary: The Head of People & Organization will lead the human resources function, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role involves overseeing all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with German labor laws. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of HR practices and a passion for fostering a positive organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Oversee employee relations, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Ensure compliance with German labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Lead workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Fluent in German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of German labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute HR initiatives effectively.
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
