We’re looking for a visionary—a "show don't tell" style startup veteran who’s itching to hit the factory reset button and start from scratch for a worthy mission. As Head of Growth & Sales Operations, you’ll join us during the "good old days" we will reminisce about at get togethers among colleagues turned friends long after our IPO.
Your initial focus will be on driving hyper-growth in our B2C SaaS offering while ensuring seamless collaboration with our operations team to align growth and efficiency. You’ll get your hands dirty, roll up your sleeves, and do the gritty work necessary to shape Advocate and America’s success.
What You’ll Do
- Player / Coach Work: At first you will design and execute bold growth strategies to expand our user base and enhance market presence. Next, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of growth initiatives with operational workflows. Later, you will build and lead high-performing growth and client experience teams that embrace creativity, accountability, and excellence.
- Growth & Acquisition: Out of the gate, you will drive user acquisition and engagement through innovative campaigns and personalized experiences. You will construct our scaled B2C growth engine, complete with exceptional unit economics and multichannel strategies.
- Operational Partnership: You will partner with client operations to ensure growth impacts are integrated into workflows and processes. Jump in as needed—whether running analytics or fine-tuning processes—in our all-hands-on-deck environment.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: You have a track record of scaling user acquisition, operational excellence, and achieving ambitious targets in growth marketing with a side of operations, with results that speak for themselves.
- Skills: You have mastery of user acquisition, engagement, and retention tactics and the stomach to see them through to results. Your first instinct is toward numbers, with experience in A/B testing, CRM tools, and growth platforms. You have authentic, kind, and accountability driven communication skills to build and motivate teams for the long haul.
- Values: You and everyone you know identifies you as a “no job too small” entrepreneur with a “let’s see if I can hack it together” individual contributor streak and ability to think across differing time horizons and business scales. You care about people—the ones you will serve and the ones you work with at Advocate—and will power through until the change you want in the world is reality. You read the Will Rogers quote, "We can’t all be heroes because somebody has to sit on the curb and clap as they go by," and your first thought is, "Where do I sign up to march?"
