P&L responsibility within the BU ON for NEME (Northern Europe and Middle East) covering approximately 30 countries with a significant business volume stemming from both new unit and service.
The Head of Finance (f/m/x) for this region is a key role in the WP Finance Leadership Team and Onshore Finance Organization reporting to Onshore Head of Finance.

  • Drive implementation of short- and long-term priorities and strategies for the Region to meet business plans.
  • Give advice and counsel as well as provide a voice of reason.
  • Have a strong understanding of the company's business model and industry and be able to use this knowledge to provide an independent perspective and to constructively challenge the commercial and operations teams, ensuring that business decisions are grounded in solid financial criteria.
  • Ensure adequate assessment and mitigation of risk as well as compliance with applicable regulatory or other legal requirements.
  • Supporting strategy development and helping enable its execution; as well as support prioritizing and ensuring the strategy can be funded.
  • Drive a culture of accountability and risk management from project acquisition to execution.
  • Translate & govern the implementation of corporate finance policies and guidelines.
  • Drive stringent execution of order backlog with aim to improve gross profit.
  • Responsible for correct books and records.
  • Provide transparent financial data for sound decision making on Region and BU-level.
  • To identify human resources requirements in line with business development, recruit, train, identify development needs and build a sustainable resource pool to achieve the business plan.

What you need to make a difference:

  • 10 years of broad leadership experience within Finance
  • > 5 years experience in project business with customer experience and orientation.
  • Experience with complex processes involving various stakeholders, showing a high level of ownership and persistent.
  • Experience with driving change and leading multi-level teams
  • High degree of business acumen
  • Strong analytic, commercial, and financial skills.
  • Disciplinary responsibility - direct reports different country and different cultural backgrounds
  • Cross-functional projects / activities- cross-functional / activities sometimes with divergent interests
  • Collaborative cross-functional skillset required.
  • High standard of Professional ethics
