As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Head of Development, who will empower people (our main asset and the reason behind our success. In this role, your main objective will be to support our development teams and individuals), stream processes (with the continuous improvement mindset we never settle on easy solutions and challenge ourselves to stay lean and driven by common sense) and drive technology (lead the development of our award-winning gaming platform, backed by a modern, serverless technology stack).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and leading a high-performing team. 
  • Support development teams and team leaders directly to help them achieve their goals and facilitate productivity
  • Collaborate with multiple functions within the organization, including Project, Product, and Operations, ensuring development efforts are aligned with the company goals and objectives
  • Oversee various processes within the development team - besides SDLC aspects, you will also contribute to broader areas, starting from recruitment, and onboarding to performance reviews, scoping, planning and more
  • Report key development initiatives and metrics to the CTO and management
  • Define, set and monitor goals and objectives for the teams
  • Support and contribute to the architecture and development of the TMA products
  • Participate in FinOps efforts of the organization by monitoring and challenging cost consumption of the developed solutions and contributing to the technology budget governance
  • Collaborate with the security team, and information security manager to improve the security posture of the organization
  • Promote initiatives to improve our processes and technology
  • Manage development tools portfolio
  • Promote and coordinate training and development programs among the development team
  • Represent the platform development team within the organization and beyond
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Requirements

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • Substantial experience in a technical leadership role, within complex environment
  • Proven experience with technical process improvement
  • People leadership abilities and interest
  • Mentorship abilities
  • Working knowledge of the iGaming ecosystem is a big plus
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Great organisational skills and ability to follow multiple threads at the same time
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
