As Head of Corporate Functions Business Risk & Resiliency, you will execute the Risk & Resiliency frameworks for corporate functions. You will execute risk management strategies, enhance existing programs, and support our corporate functions in managing risk while meeting business and regulatory requirements. You will represent the Risk & Resiliency organization, providing leadership, strategy, and innovation necessary to deploy the risk framework and develop a robust risk-aware culture.
You will

Partner closely with Corporate Functions Leadership to drive the Risk & Resiliency program according to Guardian standards, in part by leveraging Line of Business Risk Working Groups and other risk committees to create transparency and accountability around material risks.

Assess key risks for our Corporate Functions at the process level and ensure visibility into key risk action items through coordination and engagement with business process owners as well as risk and control partners.

Execute Resiliency framework through maintenance of a comprehensive business process inventory, development of business continuity plans and resiliency solutions, testing of resiliency plans, and overseeing business coordination of Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management efforts.

Own and drive maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Register (Archer), including creating awareness of reporting requirements and practices to self-identify risks and ensure data quality.

Facilitate risk discussions, develop lessons learned, advise on risk remediation trade-offs, challenge solutions, and ensure accountability for risk remediation plans.

Manage Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting for Corporate Functions, including monitoring existing KRIs, evaluating effectiveness of KRIs, and identifying new KRIs.

Support Enterprise Risk Management initiatives related to stress scenarios, risk appetite, policy, and evolving governance framework to further the risk culture.

Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Head of Business Risk & Resiliency, who reports to our Chief Risk Officer within Enterprise Risk Management.
Location
Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH. Preferred location – Hudson Yards, NYC; Bethlehem, PA; Holmdel, NJ: Pittsfield MA or Stamford CT
Salary Range:
$129,500.00 - $212,750.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
