Are you ready to rethink your routine? We’re looking for a Head of Communications to lead on, ideate and oversee the execution of Trinny London and Trinny Woodall’s communications strategy, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all platforms. Sitting in our Marketing department, this role oversees PR, media relations, influencer partnerships, while collaborating cross-functionally to elevate the brand presence. You will be responsible for shaping the brand narrative, driving consumer engagement, and building relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders.

The Role 

Your daily to-dos might look like this:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive and innovative global communications strategies to support brand objectives and business goals, aligning across markets.
  • Oversee the execution of all influencer (organic and paid) collaborations through strategic planning, management and engagement.
  • Managing market-specific agency partners to align with global brand communications strategy.
  • Lead the communications team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success and professional development.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive budget across all global communications activations
  • Oversee all aspects of media relations, including pitching stories, managing press inquiries, and securing coverage in top-tier publications.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with beauty editors, influencers, and other relevant stakeholders to generate positive brand exposure.
  • Act as a key advisor with the relevant internal stakeholders, including executive team members, across the organisation and manage reputational standing across Trinny London and Trinny Woodall.
  • Stay close to industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform strategy and encourage the team to identify opportunities.
  • Own and manage crisis communications, including developing response plans and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to address issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Seek out and analyse data on the impact of communications initiatives, providing insights to senior management to inform decision-making.
  • Align cross-functionally to ensure the cohesive messaging across platforms, amplifying the brand voice and engagement.
Requirements

These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Strong managerial experience in communications/PR/talent management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Knowledge of the global beauty industry  
  • Full of energy and enthusiasm with agility and a fantastic can-do attitude
  • Great writer with strong spelling and grammar skills
  • Flawless attention to detail
  • Fantastic organisation and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
