What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage the commercial contracting function, ensuring alignment with Polly’s business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, NDAs, and customer contracts.
  • Develop and implement policies, processes, and playbooks for efficient contract management and review cycles.
  • Manage Ironclad and the overall contracting process allows looking to build scalability, sales efficiency, and high repeatable quality.
  • Monitor and maintain contract compliance, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on contractual risks and opportunities, providing insights to key stakeholders.
  • Handle a variety of other projects and requests as the need arises.

What you have:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the state bar.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in commercial contract management, with at least 4 years in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements, data protection terms, and other technology-related contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and systems.
