We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.

We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.

About the Role
This role is a unique opportunity to elevate and expand Rula’s Business Systems organization, transforming it from a team focused on custom integrations into a strategic function that drives business efficiency, tool optimization, and cost management at scale. As the Head of Business Systems, you will elevate our existing enterprise tools organization beyond building and supporting custom integrations to encompass strategic planning, global prioritization, business tool selection and recommendations, and cost management..

Leading a team of experts, you will oversee enterprise-wide tooling strategy, including Salesforce, TalkDesk, Zendesk, Gong, and other critical platforms that enable go-to-market, customer support, operations, and engineering teams. Your leadership will ensure these tools are optimized, scalable, and seamlessly integrated, providing the business with reliable, high-impact solutions. While this is not a hands-on technical role, your experience with Salesforce and enterprise tools will be essential in shaping long-term strategy, execution models, and team structure.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to be a thought partner to a diverse set of stakeholders building a business systems strategy and execution model focused on business outcomes rather than accomplishment of tasks. You will achieve this by building a high-performing team, foster strong cross-functional relationships, and executing on a globally prioritized roadmap. You will lead through others, setting clear goals, making strategic trade-offs, and ensuring enterprise tooling investments align with Rula’s business needs and long-term growth strategy.

This role also presents the complex challenge of balancing innovation with operational efficiency. With existing tooling integrations supporting critical business functions, you will drive new capabilities while streamlining or deprecating outdated processes. The goal is to establish Enterprise Tools as a trusted partner and thought leader in selecting, implementing, and managing cost-effective solutions that scale with the company.

If you thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments and are excited by the challenge of building and leading a function that directly influences company-wide efficiency, we’d love to hear from you.

Required Qualifications

  • 20+ years of experience in enterprise tools, operations, project management, or related fields.

  • 10+ years of experience leading and managing teams across multiple job functions.

  • Proven track record of managing third-party integrations, enterprise tools, or vendor relationships with a focus on scalability and efficiency.

  • Prior experience managing managers and leading through other leaders in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

  • Strong background in corporate operations, overseeing integration delivery, support, and process optimization.

  • Demonstrated expertise in project management and cost management, ensuring execution aligns with business priorities and financial efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.

  • Prior experience as a Salesforce developer, administrator, or leader of a Salesforce team.

  • Familiarity with other enterprise tools such as Zendesk, TalkDesk, Gong, or HubSpot.

  • Experience working in HIPAA-compliant or regulated environments with a strong understanding of data security best practices.

  • Background in leading Enterprise Tools teams and working closely with RevOps, business operations, and technical stakeholders.

  • Experience managing enterprise tooling at scale, including large stakeholder groups and global prioritization models.

We're serious about your well-being! As part of our team, full-time employees receive:

What We Do

We believe that when access to quality mental healthcare improves, patients, providers, and payers all benefit. And that’s why we’re on a mission to make mental healthcare work for everyone. We remove barriers and strengthen connection points between patients, providers, and payers to improve mental health outcomes.

With Rula, it’s easy for patients to find a high-quality therapist or psychiatric practitioner who meets their unique needs, accepts insurance, and is taking new patients.

For providers, Rula offers the flexibility of private practice, while also filling caseloads and offering the necessary behind-the-scenes support. Rula handles the marketing, credentialing, billing, and admin tasks so providers can focus on what they do best: providing care to those in need.

Rula is a remote-first company with teams who specialize in the areas of Clinical, Partnerships, Operations, Marketing, Engineering, Product, and more. We’re committed to reimagining how mental health is treated.

Why Work With Us

As a remote company, we're intentional about the culture we're building. We write things down, we communicate clearly, we follow-up, and we follow-through. We have high expectations for our team, and empower individuals with a high degree of trust and autonomy. In turn, we expect that individuals operate with a sense of ownership in everything.
