Job Description
Bee Sweet Citrus is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Field/Farm Department as Fruit Quality Checker / Fruit Evaluator. This person will be report to the Field / Farm Coordinator (which is part of Bee Sweet’s Farming Department) and will be responsible for adhering to company values and will work to advance the growth of Bee Sweet’s field / farm department.
Responsibilities & Duties
Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Working closely with the entire farming team and FLCs to ensure ranch evaluations block by block and harvest procedures are followed;
Work with the entire farming team to oversee labor crew’s picking quality;
Determine crop estimations and fruit quality by working closely with all members of the farming team (as part of the farming team your evaluation of the quality of the fruit and how it changes throughout the year is crucial to our farming operations);
Reporting harvest numbers and Fruit on Ranches to Field / Farm Coordinator Supervisor
Reporting any issues in the Field / Farm to Coordinator Supervisor
Ensuring all field/farm paperwork is filled out accurately and taken to proper blocks
Skills & Other Technical Knowledge
Must be highly organized with the ability to work effectively, both individually and as a member of the Field / Farm Department
Must have strong communications skills, both verbal and written
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
Must have a clean CDL record
