You’ll lead the development of innovative robotic systems while also driving the integration of third-party platforms into our products, ensuring seamless operation within the supply chain to enhance safety, speed, and efficiency at the loading dock.

What You’ll Accomplish:

  • Define Product Roadmaps: Collaborate with software product managers and engineering leads to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for Pickle’s hardware solutions.
  • Drive Product Development: Translate customer and market needs into detailed product requirements, ensuring alignment with technical capabilities and business goals.
  • Product Integration: Drive the seamless integration of third-party platforms into our robotic systems, ensuring compatibility, performance, and operational efficiency within supply chain environments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to prioritize and execute on key deliverables, ensuring successful product launches.
  • Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and stay ahead of market trends to inform product development and ensure Pickle’s hardware solutions lead the industry.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers and end-users to gather insights, test prototypes, and iterate on solutions that address real-world challenges.
  • Lifecycle Management: Manage the full hardware product lifecycle, from concept to production to end-of-life planning.
  • Problem Solving: Anticipate and address technical and logistical challenges, ensuring products meet reliability, quality, and scalability requirements.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 5+ years of hardware product management experience, preferably in robotics, automation, or a related field.
  • Technical Product Management Expertise: Proven experience leading product development for new hardware products, including prototyping, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Familiarity with warehouse automation robotics is strongly preferred.
  • Hardware Product Development: Experience working with electrical, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams to align technical roadmaps.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Asana, or similar platforms. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with tools like Excel, Tableau, or other analytics platforms.
  • Customer-Centric: Deeply empathetic to customer needs, with a strong ability to translate feedback into actionable insights.
  • Collaborative: Thrives in a cross-functional environment, working with engineering, marketing, sales, and customers to drive results.
  • Location & Travel: You are willing and able to work in our Cambridge office at least 3x per week. You are also able to travel to customer warehouses as required.
