Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• RE of electronic circuits, embedded devices, and complex systems

• Research, identify and exploit hardware vulnerabilities

• Perform Hardware Failure analysis to include researching methods to repair damaged hardware components for the purpose of extracting information

• Perform advanced hardware exploitation to circumvent security on hardware, utilizing hardware based encryption, locking, or other security

• Analyze hardware and software core elements to properly organize raw binary structured data retrieved from the hardware level

• Perform analysis of wired and wireless network traffic using wireshark or other compatible protocol analyzer

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active Top Secret clearance with willingness to be submitted for a polygraph upgrade

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Information Systems, or additional experience in lieu of degree

• 7 years of experience with hardware design and layout

• 7 years of experience designing, developing, and testing printed circuit board projects

• 5 years of experience with system level buses and interfaces (12C, USB, JTAG, HID, etc)

• 6 years with test equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzers, hardware debuggers, and other tools to monitor and analyze hardware

• 3 years of experience with low level processor programing and configuration (assembly level)

• 3 years of performing advanced hardware exploitation to circumvent security on hardware utilizing hardware based encryption, locking, or other security

• 3 years of experience with embedded software development with platform architectures (MIPS, ARM, x8, or other specific microcontroller or microprocessor family)

• 3 years of experience with technologies and equipment in the work areas
