Hardware Development Engineer
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with component library management (registration and maintenance in Pads, Altium, or Xpedition);
- Experience with testing and debugging electronic circuits;
- Advanced English proficiency;
- Must reside in Campinas or nearby areas and be available for on-site work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Register electronic components and keep them updated according to standards and best practices;
- Support the development of new products at all stages of the hardware specification and development process, as well as provide support for production and field operations of developed products;
- Participate in defining and implementing technological decisions alongside product engineers, contributing new ideas and suggestions for new products, features, and updates to existing products at the component level, schematic design, process, and development tools;
- Assist in hardware development alongside the product engineer for new implementations or modifications to current products, ensuring project or activity goals regarding timeline, cost, and quality are met;
- Support the product engineer in researching, suggesting, and defining which electronic components will be used in products, as well as in suggesting architectures and integrated circuits for projects, always aiming for the most suitable solution considering cost, performance, and technology aspects;
- Monitor product certification and testing, analyze identified failures, and suggest and/or implement corrections, contributing to continuous process improvement by reducing failures and development time;
- Participate, when required, in technological innovation projects, new product line launches, or product mix expansion, as well as pilot production tests.
