Guidewire Application Architect, Assurant, GCC-India
The Application Architect is a position requiring to work with our clients, business partners, others architects, developers, management and other IT groups to understand and design technical solutions.
The Application Architect is ultimately responsible for setting the technical direction for a given application and provide technical architectural support, guidance, governance, planning, implementation and support for complex Enterprise Applications used across many sites globally.
The Application Architect will be expected to provide technical leadership to the organization helping with infrastructure design, integrate applications with existing environments, ongoing performance optimization and process improvement for the assigned application.
This position will be Hybrid Working at Hyderabad location.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Lead the design and implementation of Guidewire solutions, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Develop integration strategies and architectures for Guidewire applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design and implement APIs, web services, and data exchange protocols for seamless connectivity.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, and performance standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct workshops and work with clients to develop solution architecture.
- Stay updated with the latest Guidewire technologies and best practices.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- 5+ years of experience in implementing enterprise software solutions.
- Proven track record of leading functional/technical areas on implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and databases.
- Experience with Guidewire SaaS and migration is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
What are the preferred requirements needed for this position?
- Experience with Guidewire Digital.
- Experience with Guidewire Integration Gateway stack. Spring and Apache Camel.
- Hands-on scripting/programming/configuration capability in a multi-tier web application environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
