About This Role

The GTM Strategy Analyst will play a key role in supporting Hippo’s GTM Strategy Manager and sales executives by maintaining and optimizing dashboards, tracking KPIs, analyzing trends, and identifying key insights. This individual will be responsible for surfacing meaningful data-driven recommendations to help drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

As part of a specific GTM domain, the analyst will collaborate closely with other GTM team members, Sales leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with Hippo’s strategic and financial goals within the company. They will be instrumental in monitoring performance trends, diagnosing key drivers behind fluctuations, and highlighting areas that need attention.

About You

Hippo is looking for a proactive and analytical Go-to-market (GTM) Analyst with a bias for action who thrives on driving new initiatives and optimizing processes. In this role, you will leverage your experience in business analytics, GTM strategy, sales operations, or a related field to turn complex datasets into actionable insights. Beyond simply reporting data, you will identify key trends, diagnose root causes, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance performance. Your keen attention to detail and proactive approach will help uncover opportunities for improvement. You will excel in a cross-functional environment, effectively communicating insights to leadership and collaborating closely with Sales leaders, GTM team members, and other stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain dashboards to track performance against key business metrics, ensuring visibility for leadership and stakeholders
  • Analyze KPIs, trends, and performance levers across Sales, Marketing, and Product, surfacing key insights that impact revenue growth and efficiency
  • Identify root causes of performance fluctuations and proactively highlight areas requiring attention
  • Collaborate with GTM team members and Sales leadership to provide data-driven insights that influence GTM strategies and business decisions
  • Partner with the Product and Data teams to define and implement data infrastructure requirements that enhance reporting and tracking capabilities
  • Support D2C marketing efforts by analyzing media buying performance, online funnel conversion, A/B tests, lead routing, and customer lifecycle communications
  • Develop reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings, trends, and recommend actions to executives and cross-functional teams
  • Assist in forecasting and scenario modeling to help leadership make informed strategic decisions

Must Haves

  • 3–5 years of experience in business analytics, sales operations, GTM strategy, or a related field
  • Proven track record of exceptional analytical capabilities and technical skills in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Marketing platforms
  • Experience in online marketing, sales analytics, or business operations
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams
  • A problem solver with a proactive mindset—someone who overcomes challenges and gets things done
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
