Job Description:
As a GS1 Item Compliance Functional Expert (FE) Analyst, you will provide operational and analytical support for the Mars Wrigley US organization. This support includes first level of Item Compliance and GS1 Global Data Sync Network (GDSN) support, analysis of functional information via the collection of item information through item data publication to customers via GDSN, issues identification and resolution with cross functional internal and external stakeholders, potential testing of new functionality, and enabling efficient and effective processes. You will also support the FE in delivery of business benefits, technical analysis, monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), educating the end user community, and monitoring data integrity and compliance to governance standards.

What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems and Applications, Data Science, or equivalent experience required
- At least 1 year of experience working in Master Data and Customer environments required
- At least 1 year of experience working at a CPG company with a focus on Data, Analytics, and Project Management required, 5 years of experience is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience developing reports using advanced Excel functionality including Visual Basic macro coding, Power BI, and Power Apps
- Experience within the GS1 Standards Community is preferred
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Act as an integral member of the Mars Wrigley MGS organization in the support of the Global Standards and the Global Data Synchronization Network community, facilitating the improvement of business processes and results.
- Identify CIP’s and scope lines in partnership with the Item Compliance Functional Expert by recommending business process changes or enhancement of current process best practices to all levels within the business to deliver required efficiencies and address customer needs.
- Monitor smartsheet request portal and support inbox and act as the first point of contact for business users in troubleshooting item data, functional and technical issues.
- Work within SAP, DAP (Digital Asset Platform) and 1WS to identify and resolve failed critical transactions and messages in the Item Compliance applications.
- Responsible for maintaining technical skill on all appropriate applications that will provide optimum level of support to the Key User community (i.e., Smartsheet, Excel, Power BI, DAP Reporting, etc.).
- The functional expert analyst should have a solid understanding of how product data lives across Mars systems.
- Partner with cross-functional business teams to support/lead change or improve business processes both from a process, customer and technical standpoint.
- First level support for data governance principles, including acceptance of process and standards within direct data areas.
- Manage and address ongoing Data Synchronization certification and relationship with McLane.
- Strong knowledge of analytics, data concepts and industry standard tools.
- May be asked to assist MW GS1 Item Compliance Auditor in audits which may require physical ability to manage cases up to 80 lbs.
