The Growth Strategy Manager is responsible for the design and operationalization of strategic plans at Pivot Bio. This role will report to the Head of Growth Operations and work interactively across functions on projects most critical to the company’s success. Project topics are likely to cover the full spectrum of the company’s operations, including internal efforts to improve processes and external efforts that engage investors or potential partners. The Growth Strategy Manager is a proactive problem solver who is comfortable in ambiguity, strategic in nature, and rolls up their sleeves to answer hard questions. The candidate will have experience driving some or all financial and strategic modeling, market research, design research, due diligence, and blue-sky strategy projects.
Hybrid role based in Wayzata, MN or St. Louis, MO.
Essential functions:
- Work cross-functionally to build strategic plans in areas such as customer experience, digital strategy, and go-to-market before moving from plan to implementation
- Operationalize strategic plans by collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams to implement growth initiatives and support ongoing programs
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, industry landscape analysis, and customer research to identify new potential growth initiatives
- Develop financial strategies and investor relations materials that enhance the company’s potential for future growth
- Work with international market teams (Brazil) to help refine the Long Range Plan and go-to-market strategies, based on learnings from the market
- Analyze and synthesize data from internal and external sources to develop insights and drive business decisions
- Leading cross-functional teams and drive complex problem-solving across a range of topics, as needs arise
- Support key stakeholder communication (e.g., exec team, board, investor presentations)

Required education and experience
- Bachelors degree in business or related field; MBA preferred
- 8+ years of related experience; Agricultural industry experience preferred
- Financial or strategy modeling
- Design research and user experience mapping a bonus
- Expert problem solver with a relentless need to ask “Why”
- Ability to create frameworks to solve complex problems and distill them to their basic components
- High comfort with ambiguity
