We’re looking for a Lifecycles Marketing Manager (or Associate, depending on experience) to own member retention, engagement, and lifecycle marketing in our marketplace. Reporting to the VP of Growth, you’ll be responsible for customer journeys across both lenders and borrowers, with a primary focus on retention and lifecycle engagement using Braze.
This is a high-impact role where you'll craft and execute digital marketing strategies, own campaign performance, and drive activation, conversion, and long-term loyalty. You’ll be part of a cross-functional growth team, working closely with product, analytics, and paid media teams to ensure our marketing efforts create outsized impact.
What You'll Do
- Impact the full marketing funnels for both Lenders and Borrowers – Execute campaigns and experiments to drive activation, retention, and feature adoption primarily through Braze.
- Lifecycle marketing & engagement – Design, automate, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, push, SMS, in-app, rewards, referral programs).
- Data-Driven Growth – Use Looker, Mixpanel, and other attribution tools to analyze engagement and retention, optimizing performance based on data.
- Experiment & Iterate – Run A/B tests on messaging, triggers, and automation sequences to improve funnel efficiency.
- Maximize monetization & engagement – Implement loyalty programs, referral campaigns, and rewards-based engagement initiatives.
- Product Marketing & Growth Initiatives – Collaborate with product and partnerships to support affiliate programs and drive incremental revenue streams.
- Contribute to Paid Growth – Assist with paid marketing efforts, analyzing acquisition funnels and raising insights for optimization.
You're a Great Fit if You've Got:
- 4+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, email marketing, paid media, content, and/or digital growth marketing.
- Deep expertise in Braze (mandatory) – You know how to build campaigns, workflows, and data-driven automations inside out.
- An obsession with lifecycle journeys – You understand borrower and lender behaviors and how to engage users at every stage of their journey.
- Strong analytical mindset – You can interpret data from Looker, Mixpanel, and attribution platforms like Appsflyer, Kochava, or Google Analytics.
- Experience with multi-channel engagement – You’ve built and optimized email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging campaigns.
- Great communication skills – You can write compelling marketing copy and communicate insights across teams.
- Hands-on experience with marketing tools – You’ve worked with Braze, Iterable, Talon One, Google Data Studio, and/or other marketing automation & attribution platforms.
You're an All Star Fit if You've Got
- FinTech, financial services, or marketplace experience – Understanding of peer-to-peer lending or alternative finance is a huge plus.
- Interest in decentralized finance (DeFi), crypto, or Web3 ecosystems; a passion for innovative financial technologies is a bonus.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Strategy, or equivalent experience – But we care more about what you can do than your degree title.
