About the Opportunity
Join our dynamic finance team as a Grower Settlement Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in the execution of our grower settlement processes. This position directly impacts the foundational cost structure of our fruit production while ensuring timely and accurate calculations that are essential to our growers across Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
As part of our global operations, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders and departments to manage financial settlements, payments, and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a key function within an international organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage grower payments and advances on time.
- Oversee the payment of procurement deals.
- Monitor grower balances (Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable).
- Calculate grower settlement returns accurately and promptly.
- Maintain and manage master data related to grower settlements.
- Participate in projects aimed at process improvements.
- Collaborate with growers, operations, finance teams, and other key stakeholders.
- Assist in month-end closing tasks and perform reconciliations.
Candidate Profile
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
Experience
- 1-3 years in a financial role within a commercial organization.
Language Skills
- Advanced proficiency in English (mandatory).
- Spanish proficiency is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced or intermediate level).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
