As a Group Reporting & Consolidation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across our global operations. You will be responsible for consolidating financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and supporting senior management with high-quality financial insights.

The role is part of the Corporate Reporting & Accounting (CR&A) team. Besides the CR&A team, Group Finance consists of Group FP&A, Tax and Treasury. The teams consists of ambitious and highly motivated professionals. The atmosphere can be characterized as fast paced and dynamic.
In this role you will report directly to the Head of Corporate Reporting & Accounting and you will be working from our Amsterdam or Alkmaar office.
Key Responsibiltiies
- Ensure accurate financial consolidation in line with IFRS standards.
- Support the CR&A and FP&A teams in performing the necessary checks and balances on financials including deviation analyses, and forecasting.
- Collaborate closely with FP&A on ad-hoc analyses and reporting improvement.
- Assist in preparing updates to the Reporting and Accounting manual and provide support to the local teams with the implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements for external audit and the resolution of audit queries.
- Drive process improvements in consolidation, focusing on efficiency, accuracy and automation.
- Participate in system enhancements and upgrades for reporting and consolidation.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to gather data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in consolidation.
- Work closely with tax, treasury, and legal teams to understand the impact of any group-level financial structures and cross-border transactions on consolidation.
Key Skills
- Consolidation expertise: strong understanding of financial consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations, and application of consolidation standards.
- IFRS reporting: proficient in preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements and reports.
- Audit support: understanding of audit processes and requirements. Experience in external audit is considered as an advantage.
- Proficiency in reporting and consolidation systems (e.g., Onestream, SAP, Hyperion) and Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experienced finance professional (8+ years working experience) of which, a minimum of 5 years, proven experience in reporting and consolidation.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, international business environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing and consolidating financial data.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing and preferably in another European language like Dutch, German or French.
- Experience in external audit at a Big 4 accounting firm, is a strong advantage.
