Are you a strategic product leader who thrives on driving growth, building innovative solutions, and working hands-on to make an impact? We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to join us at Thinkific. 

As a Group Product Manager, you’ll lead multiple product lines, shaping the strategic vision and ensuring they drive measurable business impact. You’ll coach and develop a team of 1-3 Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Reporting to the VP of Product, you’ll collaborate across Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales to deliver best-in-class experiences that help our customers grow their businesses.

Your goal will be to drive Thinkific’s product strategy, ensuring our solutions deliver substantial value to customers and align with our business objectives. Here’s how you’ll accomplish this:

  • Define and drive the strategic vision for your product group, integrating market insights, customer needs, and business outcomes
  • Develop and execute long-term product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company goals and clear articulation of priorities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and fostering professional growth
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment with engineering, marketing, sales, and design to maximize product success
  • Leverage the Reforge framework and growth team methodologies to drive continuous business impact
  • Engage directly with customers to gather insights, refine product strategies, and ensure our solutions exceed expectations
  • Drive a data-informed approach to decision-making, analyzing trends, customer feedback, and internal metrics to optimize performance
  • Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring we learn from successes and setbacks to refine our product practices

The person we have in mind likely:

  • Has 7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years as a Group Product Manager, leading a team in a high-growth SaaS environment
  • Has a proven track record of driving product strategy and delivering measurable business impact
  • Possesses deep expertise in growth teams and the Reforge framework, using data-driven strategies to optimize product-led growth
  • Is customer-obsessed, and has a strong foundation in Jobs-to-be-Done and direct experience engaging customers
  • Leads with humility, and has experience mentoring teams, fostering accountability, and driving results
  • Demonstrates an exceptional ability to synthesize data, market trends, and customer feedback into strategic product decisions
  • Has a deep understanding of AI’s role in product development, particularly in how it’s shaping small business marketing and growth
  • Is excited about leading in fast-paced, agile environments, and takes a proactive approach to navigating change and ambiguity
  • Loves to learn and grow. They’ve found (and keep looking for) ways to level up their skills in this field, whether that’s through formal education, gaining professional experience, or maybe even building their own business 

These things would also be nice, but we think you could learn them on the job: 

  • Experience in e-commerce, creator economy, or online learning industries
  • Hands-on experience with product lifecycle management, from ideation to execution
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, customer acquisition strategies, and monetization models
  • Familiarity with AI-driven personalization and automation in product development
  • Reforge Growth Series, Advanced Growth, or other Reforge programs

The recruitment compensation range for this position is $142,000 - $200,000 CAD. Your specific compensation within this range is determined based on your job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and our internal equity assessment. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
