Job Description

IDIQ is seeking a highly motivated and driven Group Product Manager (GPM) who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of product domains, and will be the subject matter expert (SME) for each product. They play a crucial role in defining and executing product strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives to drive long-term success.

One of the GPM’s key responsibilities is crafting and maintaining comprehensive domain roadmaps, focusing on multi-quarter planning rather than just sprint or release cycles. This strategic approach ensures sustained growth and market competitiveness. Collaboration is a fundamental aspect of the role. The GPM works closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Training, Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless execution and successful product adoption. A deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and challenges is essential. The GPM leverages customer insights to inform product decisions, enhance user experiences, and drive meaningful innovation. Through strong leadership and strategic planning, the GPM ensures product growth, operational efficiency, and continuous alignment with the company’s overarching business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and consumer behavior studies to discover the needs and wants of the consumers, identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Use insights from research to inform product strategy, feature prioritization, and long-term roadmaps.

Product Development:

  • Utilize analytics and performance data to assess product success, optimize features, and guide decision-making.
  • Create product requirement documents that outline the requirements that align with the business goals of the organization.
  • Collaborate with product leaders and internal teams to develop and update products that compete with market trends, keep the customers’ best interest at the forefront, and improve profitability.
  • Present ideas and product features to stakeholders, upper management, and other product managers.
  • Product Performance and Customer Experience Optimization: Monitor product performance to ensure it operates as intended, delivering the promised customer value.
  • Continuously improving the customer journey by mapping user experiences and identifying opportunities to enhance satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement solutions that address pain points and elevate the overall user experience.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Continuously engage with stakeholders across engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to gather input, inform the roadmap, and align priorities with business goals.
  • Effectively communicate product vision, updates, and results to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to deliver high-quality services and integrations.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure alignment with regulatory and business requirements.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure the product complies with all regulatory, privacy, and security standards, building trust with consumers and stakeholders.

Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • A college degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of product management experience. A strong focus on subscription-based consumer products and/or identity theft/credit protection solutions desired but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading product teams and driving execution of complex roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to optimize customer journeys and enhance user experiences through design thinking and analytics.
  • Extensive experience in gathering stakeholder input and incorporating feedback into product strategy and priorities.
  • Expert in leveraging market research, data analytics, and performance metrics to drive product success.
  • Comprehensive experience in stakeholder and vendor management, including negotiation and performance monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies; SAFe certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Aha!, JIRA, and Confluence for product planning and execution.

Additional Information

Position Details: This is a full-time salaried position (40+ hours/week). 

Pay: The pay range for this position is a minimum of $160,000 to a maximum of $185,000 based on a full-time schedule. The actual compensation offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation such as commissions or bonuses.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly communicating and conversing with members/stakeholders/management and must be able to exchange accurate information appropriately. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, occasionally move about; and constantly operate a computer or other office equipment. The employee is regularly required to push, or otherwise move up to 10-30lbs of various equipment. Applications may include but are not limited to repetitive work operating a computer keyboard, mouse and headphones while primarily maintaining a stationary position and occasionally moving about at an assigned work desk area.
