Position Purpose:
The Incentive Calculations team facilitates management of Field Force Incentives by supporting Business Units / Commercial Excellence teams across the globe, through incentives operations, analytics driven target setting and plan design and governance support.
The purpose of the Group Lead role is to provide operational leadership to the teams working on Incentives support from GCC. The Group Lead will lead multiple Team Leads, drive engagement with regional stakeholders and ensure operational governance in collaboration with other leaders within and beyond FFO.


 

Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Team leadership
    • Lead Incentives team of 30 associates
    • Guide Team Leads in team management and decision making including but not limited to resource planning, associate engagement, capability development, performance management and objective setting
    • Coach and mentor associates as required
    • Drive fit-for-purpose behaviors in the aligned team structure
    • Champion collaboration within and across teams and functional groups
    • Instill culture of feedback and recognition
  • Operational excellence
    • Provide functional leadership in Incentives functional area including -
      • Incentive plan design analytics
      • Sales crediting
      • Target setting
      • Incentive payout calculations and reports
      • Incentive health check and ad hoc analysis
      • Contest, MBO awards tracking and calculations
    • Promote simplification, automation and standardization of operations
    • Ensure implementation of delivery excellence frameworks and project management best practices
    • Lead and manage initiatives
    • Deep dive into ad hoc projects as needed
    • Manage external service provider as needed
    • Drive business awareness within team to develop relevant insights
  • Stakeholder management
    • Lead project governance with regional stakeholders through strategic, clear and transparent approach
    • Align team with regional priorities
    • Improve stakeholder feedback and resolve issues and escalations
    • Drive global approach and support harmonization of practices across regions

What you’ll bring to the role:

Education (minimum/desirable):

Graduate in an analytical field/ data science/ Life Sciences/ Pharmacy/ Medicine/ Science & Technology

Languages:         

    

Fluency in English is prerequisite, while knowledge of other in-scope country languages would be an advantage

Experience:             

  • Experience (10+ years) in commercial execution/ design/ management consulting or pharmaceutical company with more than 2 years in team leadership role(s)
  • Should have an understanding of Pharmaceutical business including its regulatory environment
  • Proven track record of delivery analytics, Incentives and insights for field excellence and/or data enabled solutions
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence strategic decision-making
  • Strong analytical thinking with problem solving approach
  • Should have worked in an international company with exposure to working in cross-cultural environment
  • Should be customer service oriented and consultative solution delivery
  • Strong and proactive business results-focus, and proven ability to provide insights that increase productivity
