Group HR Special Projects Intern

Verisure (operating under the brand Securitas Direct in Spain and Portugal) is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on Group HR Special Projects intern

As a Group Special Projects Intern, you will contribute with diverse matters related to long term incentive plans of Verisure (employee share and stock option plans) and other HR special projects across 18 jurisdictions in Europe and Latin America. Along with the responsibilities detailed below, the Special Projects Intern will have the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge on international tax, legal and M&A.

The Special Projects Intern will report to the Group Special Projects Managers and Director. He/She will be a key member of the Special Projects team working with Verisure lawyers and tax advisors in each country.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibilities will entail:

• Preparation of investment rounds

• Analysis of complex cases, tax impacts related to international Expats and changes of local tax and legal regulations

• Tax and compliance reporting

• Activities related to transactions: sale of shares by employees, exercise of stock options, dividend distributions

• Special Projects Budget: Tracking invoices/fees received from advisors in different countries

We are looking for a high potential individual who will combine appetence, curiosity, and eagerness to develop their skills on international tax / M&A law, projects management skills and a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.
 

Experiences and Qualifications
 

Background in Business, Economics or Law, with special focus on M&A and/or Finance, and/or Tax or equivalent

• At ease with Excel

• Fluent in English

• Located in Spain
