Join our team as Group Controller and become a financial strategic decision maker who acts as sparring partner of the CFO and Manager Group Control.
We seek a talented financial professional to join our team, which includes the Manager Group Control and two Senior Group Controllers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team facing exciting challenges, such as implementing a new consolidation tool and enhancing related reporting processes. You will be at the forefront of creating the structural foundation for our future success. One of your key responsibilities will be identifying financial risks arising from our operations across various market segments. This critical aspect of the position will require you to engage regularly with Finance Managers, Project Controllers, and Business Controllers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of potential risks and to develop effective mitigation strategies.
As Group Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, performing financial analytics and forecasting. You will operate in a complex environment with various stakeholders, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively.
In this function you have a vital role in:
- Carrying out the financial planning, budgeting, consolidation, reporting and forecasting processes.
- Preparing short-term and long-term cash forecasts to create insights about liquidity and financial stability.
- Monitoring and analysing financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Actively contributing to financial strategies and policy-making and translate these strategies into operational plans.
- Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain compliance and mitigate financial risks. You ensure compliance with legal requirements and accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Preparing comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators, and present findings to executive stakeholders.
- Preparing Annual Accounts. Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
- Maintaining relationship with our business units across the globe, ensuring seamless integration and communication within IHC's financial operations.
- Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in financial processes.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration or equivalent.
- RA accreditation.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in financial management (preferably in Group Control).
- Advanced knowledge of, and experience with IFRS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
