Group Brand Manager – Innovation & Special Projects
Verisure is seeking a proactive, data-driven, and consumer-focused Brand Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, driving innovation development based on performance and consumer data, and developing claims, concepts & creative briefs. A key challenge for the brand today is to bring innovation that will be relevant to consumers, securing differentiation and superiority vs competition, as well as enhancing customer experience. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour, and brand strategy to drive sales growth – today and tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Brand Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Consider market maturity, brand strength, competitive environment, and consumer understanding. Collaborate with Insights colleagues to design & deliver market research needed to fuel assessment of opportunities.

Innovation Development: Influence and drive innovation development by leveraging performance metrics and consumer data. Summarise insights, and identify opportunities for new product development that will deliver incremental sales.

Claims, Concepts & Creative briefs Development: Develop compelling claims and concepts that resonate with consumers and differentiate our brand in the market. Write detailed creative briefs for marketing launch campaigns. Collaborate with creative teams to ensure the execution aligns with brand strategy and objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, technology, value proposition, and other departments to ensure cohesive launch messaging and strategy.

Performance Measurement: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as brand awareness, brand equity, and customer satisfaction. Use insights to optimize brand strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications, Experiences, and Competencies
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Degrees inclusive of strong mathematics modules.

3 to 5 years of experience as a Brand Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a leading FMCG company, with strong knowledge of marketing framework including claim development

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

Languages: English & Spanish fluency, ideally a 3rd language practical in French or Italian.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Creative thinker with a strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on consumer insights and market trends.

Communication Skills: Strong and clear communication is vital for a Brand Manager. The ability to convey ideas effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential.

Empathy: Understanding and empathizing with consumers to create meaningful and resonant brand experiences.

Influencing Skills: Ability to influence at various levels of the organization, from local marketing teams, to Group Tech/R&D, as well as top management (Board/MT). Leadership in matrix environment with no reporting line is critical to drive projects to completion.
Technical Skills:

Market Analysis Frameworks: Proficiency in using frameworks for analyzing markets, such as SWOT Analysis, Porter's Five Forces, and PESTLE Analysis, to understand market dynamics and competitive environment.

Marketing Framework: Experience in structuring strong marketing developments using frameworks for planning, claim development, campaign development.

Innovation Development Frameworks: Proficiency in frameworks for innovation development based on consumer insights, such as Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD), to identify and address consumer needs effectively.

Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, to interpret and analyze consumer data.

Market Research: Ability to design and analyze market research using various methodologies and tools, jointly with in house insights team.
