What you will do:

  • Government Engagement:
  • Develop and implement strategies to establish and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary liaison between WeRide and relevant government bodies to foster collaboration and partnership opportunities.
  • Strategic Partnerships:
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships between WeRide and government entities, aligning with the company's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage government relationships for business development and growth.
  • Business Development:
  • Understand the local competitive landscape and market trends. Build teams based on the company's needs
  • Develop and execute strategic plans, explore the local market, and implement sales programs to achieve the company's business goal
  • Establish and improve the overseas business operation and performance management system to ensure the healthy operation of local businesses

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a government relations or public affairs role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Has a deep understanding of the market. Design and create strategic plans based on the company's situation.
  • Result driven, Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives from the company's perspective
  • Crisis communication experience is essential.
  • Fluent in English.
