The Graphic Designer & Email Specialist, Powersports for MotoSport is responsible for designing and driving the email planning and execution process. This role will support the marketing strategy as a whole by leading the delivery of compelling, personalized messages to customers in the interest of improving customer retention and increasing customer lifetime value. You will work on a variety of branded projects, both digital and some offline, across our brands. As an email designer you will play a key role in the ideation and creation of our email program. Powersports experience, specifically in the motorcycle category, is required. Retail e-commerce experience is a plus.
This role is challenging – above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll have a big role within a fast-paced team.
This position will report into the Creative Manager.
What you get to do every day:
- Design for a broad range of digital media and contributes to discussions that create unique, differentiated and compelling creative concepts
- Works with Retention Marketing Manager to develop and execute email campaigns which support the promotional and lifecycle calendar
- Works with Creative Manager to design emails and build a creative email calendar
- Collaborates with Retention Marketing Manager to implement dynamic personalization within promotional and lifecycle emails.
- Builds, tests, and schedules all email communications in the email platform.
- Collaborates with other members of Marketing & Merchandising to feature compelling content within messages which aims to guide, inform, and entertain customers through their journeys
- Keeping up to date with email marketing best practices and design strategies
What you bring to the role:
- 1+ years experience in the Powersports industry such as riding style and make/model/year is required
- Experience managing the email planning and execution process
- 3+ years equivalent experience in graphic design
- 2+ years experience in online retail / digital commerce
- Experience utilizing email platforms, including familiarity with the platform’s technical language
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated analytical proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- A strong online portfolio and design sensibilities.
- Proficiency in the adobe and google suite
- Critical, conceptual thinker with excellent attention to detail
- Collaborates and takes constructive feedback well
- Self-starting with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
