About the Team

As engineers at Miro, we build a product that allows users to create the next big thing and we try to do this by shipping value to customers ever faster, at high quality. Our vision is collective, never independent: We’re a part of a greater organization, supporting the Miro and Product Engineering visions and the ways our customers work in this new hybrid space.

We’re working on something new and complex, and developing it fast. We’ve scaled quickly to 60M users, so staying relevant for our customers means releasing new features while keeping our core product running smoothly. Miro’s user base is as diverse as it is global in reach. Curiosity combined with a commitment to build highly functional software enables us to make a positive impact for our users, whether they’re small businesses or entire governments.

Our Engineering Team consists of 700 engineers located in several hubs and divided across several areas like Product development, infrastructure, data engineering and machine learning.

About the Role

The Miro Software Engineering Graduate Programme is designed to help computer science graduates launch their careers. In our 12-month programme, you'll gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects. You'll also be mentored by expert software engineers, who will help you develop your skills and career.

We understand that at this stage of your career you might not be sure yet where you want to specialize and what roles you will find the most enjoyable.  What we do know is that building something that people love is exciting and why we are here.

We will give you a broad experience, from working on a product development team building features millions of users will love to experiencing how we use data to make this happen.

You will spend time working with engineers, product managers, designers, analytics, ux researchers to look at a customer problem, and brainstorm solutions, experiment and see if the behavior change happens or iterate and try something else.  You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from product idea to putting it into production and monitoring the results.

You will also get the opportunity to see how Data & Machine Learning inform decision making at Miro and deliver product capabilities like Miro Assist. You will see how we use our modern data stack driven by Kubernetes, Databricks and Snowflake to ingest ~3.5 billion events per day to enable this, transform it into insight, and build ML solutions on top of it.

What you’ll do

  • Work in a product development team building new features/improvements in the UI with React, Node.js and Java/Kotlin
  • Deliver quality code by writing automated tests and learn about CI/CD pipelines
  • Deploy code to production and add monitoring and observability
  • Learn the impact of new features on user behavior via experimentation and analytics
  • Work with a cross functional team of developers, designers and product managers
