Job Responsibilities:
- Assist local municipalities in identifying and resolving bookkeeping issues.
- Travel to client sites as needed across GA, NC, and TX.
- Reconcile bank, balance inter-fund accounts, prepare capital asset registers and debt roll-forward schedules
- Draft financial statements, ensure audit readiness for multiple clients
- Great understanding of accounting (double entries)
- Solid communication skills
- Willingness to learn and problem solve
- Ability to work independently (self-starter)
Education and Experience:
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting
- GASB and GAAP
- 1+ year of experience
- Hybrid working model following your training period
