We are seeking a talented individual to join our Systems Administration team at Marsh & McLennan as a Cloud Platforms Operations Administrator (GovCloud). This role will be based in Princeton. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our GovCloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability while driving automation initiatives.

We will count on you to

• Operational support for public cloud technology solutions, primarily AWS and Azure cloud platforms with a focus on GovCloud

• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of all cloud infrastructure within GovCloud, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

• Configure, manage, audit, and alert on the availability and performance of the GovCloud environment.

• Provide support for AWS and Azure GovCloud environment for the entire stack, including but not limited to (OS, storage, networking, AWS infrastructure, compliance)

• Design and develop automation process to streamline GovCloud operations, reducing manual tasks and improving overall efficiency.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support for cloud-related projects.

• Provide support for other cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP.

• Facilitate effective knowledge transfer among team members to ensure collaboration and continuity of expertise.

What you need to have:

• 2+ years of experience managing AWS/Azure Infrastructure.

• AWS/Azure GovCloud experience is ideal.

• AWS/Azure certification is beneficial, strong experience with a desire to complete certification will be considered.

• Multi-cloud platform experience is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including but not limited to (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, FSX, Systems Manager, Security Hub, Lambda, AWS Config, EMR, Athena, EKS, etc.)

• AWS and Azure cloud-specific Infrastructure experience (Server Administration, Networking, Storage, Security).

• A commitment to best practices and striving for the elimination of manual operational processes to promote a DevOps-oriented software delivery model.

What will make you stand out:

• Prior experience implementing/supporting enterprise cloud management platforms.

• DevOps/coding skills in Python 3.x, Terraform, GitHub, and Jenkins.

• Experience with REST APIs to support integration of infrastructure, cloud, and PaaS technologies.

• AWS/Azure certifications.
