Description
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center- Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum.
Chevrolet re-entered the Medium Duty market in 2016 with the Low Cab Forward (LCF) through a partnership with Isuzu Motors. In late 2018, Chevrolet expanded our Medium Duty offering with the Silverado Medium Duty Chassis Cab 4500 HD, 5500 HD and 6500 HD. The Chevrolet Medium Duty Dealer Network currently includes 500 Chevrolet Medium Duty Dealers. This position will be responsible for day-to-day operations, logistics coordination and product activities while strengthening Chevrolet's presence in the Medium Duty market. The role will be heavily involved the Low Cab Forward order-to-delivery process.
Role Responsibilities
- Support and manage LCF Port Inventory, order fulfillment and vehicle logistics
- Create and publish LCF and Silverado Medium Duty DDM reports per schedule
- Primary interface on the Medium Duty Port Inventory (MDPI) tool
- Assist with MDPI system projects and user testing
- Interface with Isuzu on order management and Port processing activity
- Facilitate Medium Duty meetings for key customers
- Support LCF monthly production forecast and model mix process
- Lead special analytic projects to monitor and grow the business
- Responsible for inputs to the Online Order Guide
- Generate key performance metrics and reporting for GM Commercial Field Team
- Prepare data analysis for GM Envolve and Finance leadership
- Interact with the GM Commercial Field Team while tracking dealer and vehicle level data
- Act as the LCF day-to-day point of contact for internal and external teams
- Support the Medium Duty Dealer Network with inbound inquiries
- Analyze competitive sales & inventory data
- Identify and share key trends in vehicle configurations & Port Installed Options
- Train Field and supporting teams on LCF order-to-delivery processes
- Develop job aides to support Field, Dealer and Upfitter understanding of the LCF business
Additional Description
Role Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing, or relevant experience
- 3+ years related analytical experience
- Strong excel and analytical skills to navigate complex data management
- Ability to interpret, organize and simplify data for reporting purposes
- Excellent organizing and project planning skills to manage multiple tasks
- Proactive communication and timely response to inquiries
Role Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of GM Envolve business
- Knowledge of GM ordering internal systems
- Medium Duty, Commercial Dealer and/or Field experience
